The autonomous community from Spain Galicia has its etymological origin at the word “Gallaecia”, which was the name the romans used to designate the northwestern area of the Iberian peninsula, which was inhabitated by “galaicos” on the west and “astures” on the east side.

This books shows the 2017 journey of the photographer Manu Rocha during winter all through the galician community, visiting places such as the well-known beach called “Playa de las catedrales”. The prominence of this work comes from the photographs, getting mixed with the white of the page and short texts written in Galician by authors such as Francisco García Lorca or Celso Ferreiro, creating rhythms that leads the reader.
